On this cloudy day I bring you a bit of sunshine. Tyler and Kirstie’s sunny wedding was held at Carrigan Farms and featured many elements of their beach styled lives, from the Navy Blues to the Tommy Bahama outfits the guys wore. One of the most beautiful moments was when Tyler approached Kirstie with a blindfold to allow them to touch and speak to one another without him seeing her.

Amanda and Jeff are truly a couple perfectly fitted for one another. I am always very inspired by the way that Jeff cherishes Amanda every time that we are able to meet. This definitely translated into the wedding day as Jeff kept remarking how he could not wait for the ceremony. Their wedding was held at the Peninsula Club in Cornelius, NC, and was very family centered. It was very important to them to have a smaller guest list so that they could take the time to speak with each and every person who they invited.

Chase and Tiffany are two of the warmest people you could ever meet and have a sweet southern charm about them. When I first met them, we spent several hours just talking about everything under the sun, not just their wedding. Their wedding was held at Boxwood Lodge, which is an old hunting lodge that has been painstakingly restored and can be used for weddings. With all of the rich colors and elegant decor, their wedding was nothing short of extravagant.

Thank you, Dedria and Phillip, for allowing me into your home to photography your newborn treasure!

I have been looking forward to sharing Andrew and Christine’s wedding and now the time has come. If you ever have the chance to meet these two, you will walk away amazed by how genuine they are. They are one of the kindest, warmest, and God-glorifying couples I have ever met. They made almost all of the wedding items themselves so their wedding had all the personal touches that reflected them perfectly.

It was such a pleasure to travel to Washington DC to photograph with Quest and Jacquelyn. Their wedding will be in North Carolina so they decided that having engagement photos in DC as it is where they live and work. We first traveled to Haymarket, VA to photograph on Quest’s parent’s farm. The open fields, barn, and horses reflected their rustic and outdoorsy lifestyle perfectly. We then traveled back to DC to finish their session at the Jefferson Memorial. The light between the columns and natural reflectors made this one of my favorite locations to photograph at.
