Will & Rackin’s summer wedding will grace this blog soon. Here is quick peek of what is to come.
I loved the elegance that defined their wedding and the joy that they had for one another.
Bridals: Erin
Our good friends Glenn and Erin were married this last weekend, and while I could not be there myself, I was able to photograph Erin in her wedding dress several weeks before her wedding. It was a great opportunity to brave the oncoming storm and make some beautiful art for her. I am so pleased to have been a small part of Erin’s wedding, even if I was not able to attend. The session was held at Banner Elk Winery and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue or location.

Told in a far more eloquent way than I can. Sparrow has been through so much and needs support of those who can.
A child should never have to suffer this way when we are able to do something about it.

What can I say that has not already been said about the city of lights? It is a place to be inspired by, to feel the ebb and flow of the city and those who dwell within it. The stunning architecture and picturesque gardens. It seems so otherworldly in comparison to our cities here in the US. You can feel the history in certain areas. It is a city that has aged quite well.
Travel: Parc de Sceaux
What can I say about this place? It is a landscape of precision and beauty. One of a natural sort that has been tamed with shears and patience. Nature that has been bent to the will of man through the only means we have, time. I find it interesting that though we try our hardest to make things the way we want them to be as quickly as possible, the best and most lasting solution is time. The journey of photography is not dissimilar to the creation of a garden. It is a slow and arduous process. One that takes so much time and energy, and constant upkeep to maintain. A lifelong process to make something beautiful.
